3 Steps to Finding Your Why For Your Business

The most pivotal thing I’ve done for my Network Marketing business was leveraging my brand on social media📲.

This has also helped my coaching business as well.

I want to empower and encourage you to look  👀 into building your personal brand, figure out what your message is, find out what impact you want to make on others, and come up with a mission statement.

In episode 78, I share my 3 steps to help you find your why.

When I think back to when I got started in Network Marketing and first started building a brand, my main reason was to make more money 💸.

A goal is a goal no matter what the motivation is, but wanting more money wasn’t 🙅 building a “why connection” for me.

I felt like I was chasing 🏃‍♀️ a buck. 💵 I was chasing a new recruit, a coaching client, and pretty much anything that would get me more money. This actually didn’t motivate me at all.

I started building resentment towards the industry and I don’t want that for you babe 😘.

One thing I did to shift my income and my impact was building a mission statement. I wanted to create a mission statement that would help me build a connection with people.

Not only that, I wanted to be a part of something that was bigger than me. I wanted a “why” that was more than just “more money”.

For me, the sole purpose of making money was kind of like an addiction for me. I got caught up in wanting more, more, and more. When you have more and you’re just chasing more, it will leave you with an empty, burned out feeling that feels like ISH 😔.

So I need you to throw away that mindset 💭 +  look for a bigger purpose.

For example, my bigger purpose is helping women with things like mental illness and addiction, and helping them to figure out what their bigger purpose is. I teach them how to take their pain and turn it into profits.

This is what makes me excited 🥳  about my business. This is what makes me excited to get out of the bed in the morning.

Here are 3 things I want to encourage you to sit down and do that will help you build a stronger connection to your “why”.

Ask yourself: Why do I want to be in this  business, Why do I want to make money online, and What am I going to do with this money.  

1.) Sit down and decide who it is you want to help.

Who are they? What do they like to do? Where do they go?

What is an issue or problem they may be facing? How can you help them with a problem they have?

Are you stuck when it comes to branding yourself on social media?

2.) Every Dollar has a purpose

On a bigger scale, when you’re making 10, 15, or 20 thousand a month, what are you going to spend each dollar on? I’m going to try to switch your money mindset right now because It’s not all about you. It’s about giving to others and serving others.  

3.) Sit down and write out a mental movie.

Decide what you want your life to look like. Write down two separate stories. Write what you want your life to look like 5 years from now and another for 10 years from now.

Make it as detailed as you can. Where will you be living? What does your morning routine look like? Are you peaceful? What joy is being brought to you in your life?

Once I really sat down and wrote down exactly what I wanted, it was a PIVOTAL moment for me in my business. In my Elite Academy I shared my exact exercise to help you create your mental movie + my FAV apps to use when creating it.
