Does the Instagram algorithm give you a headache? 😩

You need to understand how the algorithm actually works, so you stop stressing out about it.

But here's what I want to say first…Great content that emotionally connects your audience to you, that emotionally triggers your audience will always trump the algorithm.
Instagram will show your content to people that you have a relationship with.
So if you're not using my 3-3-3 method for turning a lead into a prospect and for turning complete strangers into your BFF, I highly suggest you get yourself to that free webinar ASAP.

You're going to be stuck for a minute.
So what constitutes a relationship on Instagram?
▪️ Someone that DMs you. (DM on Instagram means, Direct Message – it's a way for someone to get in your inbox and have a deeper conversation with you.)
▪️ Another way would be when someone watches your stories and actually replying to them.
▪️ They are commenting on your posts, reels, IGTVs
So of course, we want to find ways to get the conversation going with our audience.
My 3-3-3 method will help you do this by creating an authentic and real relationship without cold messaging.
The Instagram Algorithm
So how does it actually work? 🧐
You post something and then Instagram is going to push that to a certain number or percentage of people that are following you.
If people engage with your post, the Algorithm is like….“Oh, okay, this post might have something going on.”
And it's going to try to show it to even more people and more of your audience. Now, if people stop engaging or don't engage organically with that content, Instagram is going to pause on showing it to any more people.
Your content is actually ranked by the number of engagements, how long someone sits on that if they look at the post if they're liking if they swipe if they're watching the video…all of this will come into play when it comes to the algorithm.
So here are 3 quick tips that I want to give you with Instagram and how you can keep people on your posts longer.
🌟Tip #1 – Instagram Reels
Reels are popping off right now.
I'm actually going to do a whole blog on Instagram Reels, especially for network marketers and how you can leverage reels to grow your business while growing your following.
Did you know that Instagram Reels sit in the “Explore Page” on Instagram, a place that more than 50% of Instagram accounts use every month?
But here's the deal.
If you're not posting at least two to three reels a week and you're not posting it on your profile grid, you are losing out on growth.

Canva lets me create all the branded images for my business and is SO simple and easy to use, even for beginners. I mean, HELLLERR it's a no-brainer.
🌟Tip #2 – Carousel Posts
What do I mean by that?
You want to post many photos on one Instagram post so people have to swipe ➡️.
This keeps people on the platform longer AND most importantly, on your post longer…and eventually keeping them on your profile longer.
So not only are they going to read a long caption but they're going to swipe and stay on your profile a little bit longer.

Carousel images have an average engagement rate per post of 1.92% compared to 1.74% for images and 1.45% for videos.
And get this, The engagement rate per post goes OVER 2% when all 10 carousel slide images are used in your post.

🌟Tip #3 – Long Captions
Here's the deal, if you're writing short captions, people are just going to read it real quick, look at the image, then boom, they're gone. 👋
If you write a long caption and emotionally connect your audience to you, it's going to keep them on your profile longer. 👏
This creates engagement, gives you a higher ranking, and Instagram will show it to more of your audience.
So I want you to get into action ASAP and implement these 3 tips I just shared to increase ⤴️ your engagement and increase you being seen by more of your audience.
Posts with longer captions generally had a higher engagement rate than those with a shorter caption.
